Cosmic Catalogue: Turning point

The month of August is set to be a month of illumination and clarity, with this week being no exception. Beginning with a Full Moon in Aquarius, the chance to realign priorities in terms of how much you’ve sacrificed your needs and desires for the sake of something or someone else is highlighted. Distancing yourself from the thoughts and opinions of others will help you gain clarity around what is right for you by revealing fresh perspectives. This may involve groupthink type ideas and the general attempt to confuse what’s real and conceal what’s hidden. Remind yourself you’re allowed to have your own thoughts, opinions and ideas that run against the grain of whatever the “next thing” is. Turning points are promised which may spur you to head in a new or different direction.

What kind of direction, you may ask? One that inspires you or renews your sense of hope and enthusiasm. This might mean carving out time to chase your dreams, work on your health, fitness and general wellbeing. Establishing new rules, boundaries and systems will be helpful too. Getting clear and organized will help you stay on the path. This week, draw your proverbial line in the sand and move towards action or an endeavor that’s worth taking.

Shopping for clothes in the ‘60s

April 16, 2025
My friend, Diana, told me recently that she likes to try on clothing before she buys it. I totally agree! However, that option is becoming less available as brick-and-mortar stores close.
