When will it end?

By Cassandra Tyndall

During these times, people look to people like me as a source of hope. I get emails, messages on social media asking for my astrological take on things. What they are really asking is when is all this going to end or when are things going back to normal?
As far as I can see it, it’s not. In December 2020, under the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, we entered a new 200-ish year epoch of these every 20-year conjunctions happening in Air signs. This is after a cycle of  occurring in Earth signs for the past two centuries.
Look at it this way, when you’re ready to get fit and healthy, you quit sugar, alcohol and all the little things in life that make it feel indulgent. You will feel worse before you feel better. Humanity is in this space right now. We just want that one glass of wine, a piece of chocolate or whatever your poison is.
Instead, your job is to lean into the small joys. Shift your focus from what is lost to what can be gained. Fortunately, the skies can support you in that this week.

Short poles

May 7, 2025
It never felt like this before. My chest was in the right position and wasn’t getting bounced backward every few turns. My right shoulder wasn’t getting jammed into itself with every pole plant, forcing my torso up and my entire body to stretch out. That beautiful extension that forces me to then retract everything while…

A cut above

May 7, 2025
Only three people have ever cut my hair: There was the older gentleman that my mother brought me to when I was young. Then there was the son of my dad’s barber, who cut my hair for decades. And finally, there’s the guy I’ve been going to for the last several years. I especially liked…
