Did you know that RCHS takes in around 500 kittens each year? As it starts to get warmer, the kittens will be here before we know it! Please help RCHS take care of our many new kitten arrivals this season. During the month of April, we will be hosting an online kitten shower! If you would like to shop online, you can check out our Amazon “kitten shower” wish list under “ways to give” at rchsvt.org, and your gifts will be shipped directly to RCHS. If you’d like to shop locally, you can also bring supplies by the shelter! Some of the items we need include: KMR kitten formula, chicken or turkey baby food (Gerber brand), cat beds and toys, canned kitten food, small soft stuffed animals, small animal heating pads, fleece blankets, small vegetable scales and monetary donations and/or gift cards. For more info, please call 802-483-9171, or e-mail [email protected].

A puzzling situation

Though you probably won’t find breeding muskrats “nibblin’ on…
