Become a foster parent at RCHS

Would you like to make a difference in the life of a homeless animal? Do you have the time and space to care for animals in need of temporary foster care? If so, the Rutland County Humane Society (RCHS) would like to hear from you. Did you know that RCHS had almost 350 animals in foster care throughout 2021 alone? RCHS depends on many foster parents who dedicate their time to helping the animals throughout the year, especially during “kitten season,” which will be here before we know it! During this busy time, we have many newborn/young kittens and moms with kittens who need to spend time in foster care before they are ready for adoption. We provide all the supplies you’ll need, we just ask that you provide the extra love and care. If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, or would like to learn more about the foster program, please contact Carolyn at 802-483-9171 ext. 208 or email carolyn@rchsvt.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
