The Great Conjunction is here

By Cassandra Tyndall

You’ve probably heard a lot about this week’s rare fusion between Jupiter and Saturn. Known as the Great Conjunction, this happens every twenty years. What’s especially unique about this particular conjunction is that it heralds a new almost 200-year cycle of Jupiter and Saturn conjoining in the air signs of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius.

If you’re not an Aquarian, you might be wondering what all the fuss is about. The fact is, regardless of the Zodiacal position of the planets at your moment of birth, you’ll have an area of life that the sign of Aquarius oversees. For some, it may be your attitude to money or relationships. For others, Aquarius may influence your career, your health, or your overall outlook and philosophy on life. There is a corner in each of our lives where we hold rigid ideals or opinions about the way things should be. While at the same time, holding space to innovate, change and renew.  If you take note to the events that take place in your life this week and through until early March, you’ll get up close and personal with what Aquarius and this dynamic collective shift means in your own life.

My family and I went to the beach this past week. The temperatures were hot, and the weather was sunny, making for a classic seaside vacation. The house we rented was in the harbor of the town where we were visiting, so while we didn’t stare out at the ocean, we were able to sit…
