Stay connected to the truth

The events of this week are set to be spectacular as well as explosive. In fact, what occurs over the next 10 or so days will really set the scene for the rest of the year.

In a world full of lies, deception and manipulated reality, staying connected to the truth can take real dedication and courage. It would be unwise to take the official version of reality and think that is all that there is to the story.

It’s more important than ever to remain open minded, but not so open that your brain falls out.

Instead, opened mindedness means not taking things at face value, asking questions, indulging in curiosity and exploring alternative outcomes. Don’t be fooled in thinking that everyone thinks like you do.

Now and for some time to come, we face many wars on many fronts — literal and metaphorical. It’s the war on your mind that has become the most insidious.
Just because someone lies the loudest doesn’t mean they are correct. Just because the majority thinks this is “the thing, “doesn’t have to mean it’s the thing. We’ve been bamboozled for some time but avoiding the evidence of such.

Short poles

May 7, 2025
It never felt like this before. My chest was in the right position and wasn’t getting bounced backward every few turns. That beautiful extension that forces me to then retract everything while…

A cut above

May 7, 2025
Only three people have ever cut my hair: There was the older gentleman that my mother brought me to when I was young. Then there was the son of my dad’s barber, who cut my hair for decades. And finally, there’s the guy I’ve been going to for the last several years. I especially liked…
