The Rutland County Humane Society (RCHS) is looking for volunteers to help with the cleaning of our community cat rooms! Our community cat rooms are a great way for adoptable cats to socialize, and visit with potential adopters, and with the warmer weather comes more occupants! Volunteers need to be 16 years old or older, and must be able to commit to a weekly shift from 9-11 a.m. They must be comfortable with direct contact with cats and kittens, dirty litter boxes, and cleaning agents. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions is required. If you are looking for a way to support RCHS and help make a difference in the life of our cats while they’re waiting for their forever homes, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 802-483-9171 ext. 207 or email carolyn@rchsvt.org.
