Too dark to handle safely

This week’s horoscopes are coming out under the light of a Libra Moon. This week is huge, on multiple levels. As the Moon moves from Libra to Scorpio, it will reach fullness on May 7. The full moon in the month of May is known as the Wesac Moon and is significant in that it commemorates the birth of the Buddha. This would be enough for most of us, but according to the Druids, the 6th of May is the most spiritually potent day of the entire year. It will be interesting to see what comes to light in the world this coming week.

I was going to share a story from one of the most intense charts I have ever seen, until it hit me that there is no way to convey information like this without freaking you out, or without seeming like a total lunatic. The story is so much like a horror movie, it defies belief. It goes all the way back to before the fall of Atlantis. On the day that I was scheduled to read for this individual, I got firm instructions from a very powerful entity to leave well enough alone – for my own sake, and for the sake of the client as well.

If you wonder why this would be the case, it’s because, “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy,” and sometimes those things are too big for us. In this situation, doing this chart would have exposed me to harmful influences, forces that I am not spiritually equipped to handle. I was also informed that intervening with my two-cents would not help my client. Why? Because her spiritual growth in this incarnation requires her to work through these very dark issues, on her own. At some point, if I can find a way to put her story into words I will share it with you.

The reason I even bring it up is because all of us are subject to past life influences that color this life in ways that are unique to each of us. The way the current experience unfolds relates directly to the karma the soul has accumulated through time. Because we are educated to believe that everyone’s life is supposed to go a certain way, it’s hard for us to accept the fact that there is no set pattern, no one-size-fits-all prescription for the way things turn out.

For this reason it is not our business to pass judgment on people whose circumstances are too far over the top to fit the mold.

From what I have seen, those of us whose stories border on the dark end of the experiential spectrum are closer to the heart of things than those of us who are riding high, and graced by levels of privilege and specialness that would lead others to assume that we are blessed.

All this has reminded me that all of us are subject to our own brand of darkness, I am 100% clear that our most valuable lessons are rooted in the karmic compost that lies at the bottom of the barrel.

For now, it feels to me like, it might be worthwhile to examine the current opposition between Pluto and Apophis. As this transit impacts everything on the planet, it is exhuming our personal and collective darkness in ways that offer many of us pause to reckon with some of the hardest stuff we’ve ever had to deal with.

Pluto

Our Sun takes approximately 25,000 years to circle the center of our galaxy. Pluto takes 248 years to orbit the Sun. Close enough to 250, Pluto’s cycle is a harmonic of the Grand Cycle, a.k.a. the Precession Cycle. In resonance with higher cosmic frequencies and ringing true to them, Pluto’s passage through the signs of the zodiac serves as a step down transformer that allows larger, evolutionary forces to bring about changes here on Earth. His movements tick off stages of development that impact generations of people for long periods of time. Pluto is the planet that moves the collective mind from one stage of consciousness to another.

Major transits involving Pluto are akin to wake-up calls. The nature of the awakening depends upon the nature of the aspecting planet, or asteroid. His current opposition with Apophis is intense, and apocalyptic in nature.

Apophis

Egyptian mythology tells us that Apophis is the personification of pure evil, and the sworn enemy of the Sun god, Ra, otherwise known as the “Bringer of Light” and the champion of Truth and Order represented by Ma’at. Apophis reigns, fully and completely during the dark half of the Precession Cycle. If this asteroid embodies chaos, disorder, and the commission of horrible, unforgivable acts, and has ruled over our planet for the last 13,000 years, what do you suppose will come up for us here on Earth now that we have officially entered the Age of Light?

Since the sole aim of Apophis is to “destroy the light” it’s safe to say that his stint behind the wheel is up. Even though he doesn’t know when to quit, he doesn’t belong here any more: He’s in the wrong place at the wrong time. With Pluto squarely opposed, knowing that it’s Pluto’s job to make room for higher frequencies coming directly from the Great Central Sun to enter the Third Dimension and shift the course of evolution from one gear to the next, it looks to me like this Pluto-Apophis opposition is charging human consciousness with rays that are intrinsic to the Age of Light.

With the “As Above, So Below” axiom always in play, under this aspect it stands to reason that huge amounts of darkness and pain will be released forever. The woman whose issues were too big and too dark for me to handle safely, is living through her darkest hour because there’s no better time than now for her to find her way to the light. All of us are in the same boat, sailing along with the Sun god, Ra, with legions of other souls who are ready to transform whatever their brand of darkness contains into what was there before evil infected the world.

If this sounds a little crazy to you, mark my words, it isn’t. Pay close attention to what happens in your personal reality, on the 6th of May, during the Wesac Moon, and in the outer reality over the next few months. If there are more things in heaven and earth than either you or I could ever imagine, they are definitely on the loudspeaker right now.
