Your weekly horoscope, Nov. 2-8, 2022

March 21 – April 20

If there were ever a time to face your deepest fears, it would be this week. It could be fears around financial security, the fear of death or the extent of which you’re willing – or not – to entangle your life around someone else. If there is a monster you’re grappling with, look to see if it’s under your bed, in your closet or in your head. Exit light, enter night could just as easily be exit night, enter light. It’s up to you!

July 21 – August 20

The idea of shedding skin applies to your home and family life this week. Maybe you need to set some new ground rules about what you are and are not available for regarding domestic dynamics. As you dig into the underbelly of things, you could even bump into a skeleton or two. If things are going along swimmingly at home for you, this could be an ideal week to do a deep clean and declutter of your living space.

November 21 – December 20

If your sleep is restless or your dreams are more like nightmares, than that might peak for you this week. While that might not be what you want to hear, it may be helpful to not let your mind wander toward dark thoughts too much during the day. What we think about is often what we dream about. If you’re not one to meditate, it might be a good time to try it. A calm mind will help a lot for sounder sleep.

April 21 – May 20

Depending which angle you look at it, your greatest strength or your greatest weakness lies with within your active resistance. At some point though, you have to concede defeat, right? For how much longer can you continue to break? Isn’t much easier to just bend, even if just a little bit? In order to have something you want, you’ll have to do something you’ve not been willing to do. The ability to change can be your strength, rather than your weakness.

August 21 – September 20

Changing your mind is one of your greatest superpowers. The ability to adapt just enough to solve a problem or make an improvement is second to none. So why, dear Virgo, are you stuck on something right now? Does it have something to do with a changing world view or perspective? Maybe it’s travel or study plans your wrestling with? Whatever it may be, the idea of letting go and letting God may help ease any stress, worry or anxiety you could be feeling now.

December 21 – January 21

Have you ever heard the term, ‘drag the waters?’ It’s the idea that when flood waters recede, you’re then able to see the sludge and debris that really lies beneath. This metaphor may pertain to your social circles, either at work or within your personal life this week. Someone is coming at you and it may not seem totally clear what their motives are. If in doubt, ask questions and use caution. All will be revealed to you soon enough.

May 21 – June 20

This week may bring rise to another problem you need to solve, another task to complete that you feel obligated by. Your health, wellness and your daily routines and rituals are under the spotlight. You might ask yourself why are you doing the things you do, or, why aren’t you doing what you know you need to do. Get tighter in managing your time, energy and your health. That is the beast you need to slay right now.

September 21 – October 20

A lot of people are complaining about money right now – and not without reason, mind you! So much complaining and so little restraining? Fortunately, you’ve been a little head of the curve, thanks to your recent astrology. So if you’ve yet to reign in some excess spending, then do so! There’s a certain kind of empowerment available to you right now if you can embrace the short term and keep your eye on the long game.

January 21 – February 20

This may be a difficult week in terms of work, career and decisions regarding your overall life direction. On the one hand, you might be excited to move forward. While on the other, you may not have the energy to do it. There may be questions about whether you’re tired, or you’re uninspired. After this week though, the answers you seek will become so much clearer. Through all this, it may be important to remember that you can feel good while still feeling confusion.

June 21 – July 20

The company you keep and the things you do for fun tend to make up the parts of life that bring joy and happiness. No one comes to the end of their life thinking about the number of followers they had on social media. They think about the good times they had with those in real life. The question you need to face this week is, how exactly are you spending your time? Focus your attention on your real-life friends.

October 21 – November 20

In recent days, I’ve had a few run ins with snakes as I go for a walk in nature. I’ve seen them slither away and I’ve seen a snake skin or two. I’ve often wondered if shedding is painful for a snake. Google had conflicting answers. With that in mind, you may also have conflict about the process you’re in. You know it’s so necessary, but you’re not sure not sure just how much more you can take. The good news, it’s nearly over.

February 21 – March 20

When life feels overwhelming or the problems of the world feel too much, it can be helpful to get back to basics and enjoy the simple things in life. Conversations about the meaning of life, spirituality and purpose and your big-picture plans for the future can help reinspire you. So whatever you do this week, remember any discomfort or confusion you may feel is ultimately leading you to a better place, or at least, a new perspective.
