Shank is the leader we need now

Dear Editor,

I believe Michael Shank is exactly the kind of leader we need right now. At a time when it feels like the fabric of our society is being torn apart, almost every politician I see is busy talking about whose fault it is. Shank is busy working on how to bring people together to find solutions.

I believe in Shank because he believes in people, and people solve problems. Pre-packaged ideologies don’t solve problems, especially not problems of the magnitude that we are facing right now. Shank is one of the most skillful communicators I have ever met. I’m voting for Michael Shank to represent Rutland County because I believe he will work with his colleagues in Montpelier in a way that builds the trust, respect and positive energy necessary to get things done!

Dear Editor, We’re heading north and so excited. We’re moving full time to Vermont! For decades we’ve been snow birds, like my parents, spending half the year in Bradenton, Florida.
