RAVNAH thanks voters for support

Dear Editor,

On behalf of the staff, volunteers and board of directors of the Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice (RAVNAH), I would like to thank the city, towns, and residents of Rutland County for your strong and heartfelt support of our comprehensive home care, hospice and community health services.

Thanks to your vote of confidence each March, we have been able to carry out our mission to bring medically-necessary home health and hospice services wherever they are needed, regardless of a client’s ability to pay, location of residence, or complexity of health issues.

As federal and state funding for home health continues to decline, your support will become more crucial to ensure that your family, friends and neighbors will be able to receive the medical care they need — in the place they call home.

Thank you,

Ron Cioffi, chief executive officer, RAVNAH
