Horoscopes for March 17-23, 2021
March 21 – April 20
Many, many moons ago, Madonna told us that if we took a holiday, it would be so nice. To put your troubles down can turn this world around. Imagine that! A world without troubles! If you’re feeling the world has gotten too much and need a little bit of ‘nice’ in your life, maybe a holiday is due. If that’s not possible, think of ways you can indulge in some healthy escape. Time spent doing a nothing or what you really enjoy is never wasted.
July 21 – August 20
You’re probably used to being the one that lights others up or being the glue that keeps things together. Your warmth, generosity and tendency to take the lead gives the impression you’re strong and able to handle anything. Well, you are! That being said, moments of weakness, uncertainty and confusion are something no one is immune from. If emotion rises up from out of nowhere, you’re invited to feel it. Allow yourself to bathe in the light of other people and the support that’s on offer now.
November 21 – December 20
Every now and then, you get opportunities to realize that the meaning of life isn’t always found in a far-flung corner of the world. Being a rolling stone does lead to adventure and excitement, but it also has its downsides. It’s not until you’re grounded in some way, either thanks to a global pandemic or for other reasons, that you understand the value of stillness. You’re not a human doing, but a human being. A quieter, calmer and more paced lifestyle is actually good for your soul too!
April 21 – May 20
The Beatles once told us we all can get by with a little help from our friends. That being said, the true essence of friendship feels a little watered down these days. For you, Taurus, you revel in the material and the tangible – in other words, the online space just doesn’t cut it. If there is a special friend in your life you truly long to connect with, do what you can. If geography, the pandemic or a difference of opinion has got between you, go above and beyond to re-establish the connection.
August 21 – September 20
You’re encouraged to see a point of view that is not your own, whether you agree with that view or not. It’s important to understand that that view may not make any sense, but it’s still a view that is worth considering. If someone important to you is trying to share a feeling or an opinion that may challenge your own view of how things should be, then avoid the temptation to fix things. Sometimes the best support you can offer is to just allow someone to be heard.
December 21 – January 21
It’s amazing how your outlook on life can change when you shift the focus from achievement to experience. Stopping to smell the roses every now and then can do a lot to lift your spirits and open yourself to opportunities that may be right under your nose. Take the time out this week to visit a local café, read a book you’ve been meaning to for some time, or catch-up on podcasts or blogs. The little things you do now have the capacity to lead to big things.
May 21 – June 20
If you’re on a professional path that really lights you up, then this current phase of crazy-busy will be something to be truly grateful for. A sign that you’ve really made it in whatever that means to you. If you’re on a wheel of menial tasks that don’t satisfy nor delight, it’s quite possible you’d be feeling overwhelmed, lethargic and wanting to be anywhere but where you are. If that’s the case, use any negative feelings to propel you toward a more inspired direction.
September 21 – October 20
It’s quite possible that you’re feeling disillusioned with your lot in life. Whether it’s a health concern or feeling undervalued and unsupported, the sense of overwhelm may be real. It could be a case of simply biting off more than you can chew. Perhaps you’ve made choices in order to please or pacify others, only to feel the resentment rising like a tide within. Regardless, own the choices you’ve made, but promise yourself to make difference choices from here on end.
January 21 – February 20
Sometimes it isn’t always easy to appreciate the support that is always there for us. We spend so much of our time looking at the big picture or the big wins, we forget all the smaller, but vital, pieces of the puzzle that help us get there. It may be someone who cheers you on and supports you emotionally, it may be the extra cash that comes your way to pay a bill you didn’t expect. It could be simply choosing to be more grateful for everything, big and small that conspires to elevate you.
June 21 – July 20
So many of us go through the motions of life, day to day, ticking off our to-do lists, only to wake up and do it all again. Another day passes, but we get no closer to completing those tasks. In a rare Madonna song, one that only fans would know, she sang, “I don’t want to get to the end of my days, saying I wasn’t amazed.” If you’re feeling a lack of amazement in your own life, this week, turn to what inspires you. Those tasks can wait another day.
October 21 – November 20
Do you remember what it was like to be 9? To ride your bike with the wind in your hair. To make potions and pies out of mud. To climb a tree without a care in the world. To not have an amazing sense of oneness with the world? In other words, to have an unbridled sense of fun? To experience joy? If you can’t remember when the last time it was you laughed – truly laughed until your belly muscles hurt, then this week, remember who you were when you were 9.
February 21 – March 20
It’s never a selfish thing to put yourself first. So often, it’s necessary. This doesn’t have to mean turning your back on others, or refusing to deliver on promises or obligations. It may mean carving out time to sit with the thoughts inside your mind. The time to reflect is so precious and so valuable because it provides feedback and insight as you move forward. From this intuitive awareness, you can make choices that align with your compassionate and caring nature.
