It’s kitten season at the RCHS

As spring begins, and the weather begins to warm, we are starting to see more and more kittens come through our doors that are too young to be adopted just yet. Interested in becoming a foster parent with RCHS? We especially need foster homes for momma cats with nursing kittens, orphaned newborns, and young cats that are eating on their own. Your generosity will allow these little ones to grow strong and healthy so they can be placed in forever homes. If interested, please contact Sue at 483-6700 or visit If you are unable to foster, but still want to help, some items our kittens need include: KMR kitten formula, kitten nursing bottles, chicken or turkey baby food, cat beds and toys, pate canned kitten food, small soft stuffed animals, small animal heating pads, fleece blankets, and monetary donations and/or gift cards. Any donations can be dropped off in our donation bin in front of our building at 765 Stevens Road.

I’m a 1-year-old spayed lop mix. I hopped in from another shelter. I’m a shy girl working on building trust with people and I’ve come a far way in a short amount of time. I am so curious about things! I love to play with cardboard and brown paper bags and jump around with them in my mouth. I can be a bit more vocal than my other bunny friends, I make a huffing sound when I get a nervous or stressed. A nice, quiet home would be so wonderful.
