Enjoy Irish music at the Fair Haven Library

Tuesday, March 10 at 7 p.m.—FAIR HAVEN— The Friends of the Free Library have once again booked an Irish band for its March performance. Irish music is a favorite in Fair Haven and once again they will be welcoming back Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki and Matt Jensen to perform. You don’t want to miss them.

Bringing fresh energy to Celtic music, Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki is an award-winning fiddler who grew up playing dances and folk festivals around New England. He was first recognized as part of New Hampshire’s culture at the age of 12, when he was the youngest member of the delegation representing the state at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. He has toured nationally with bands in various genres, performed across Ireland, and released multiple recordings of Celtic music that can be heard on radio stations around New England and the British Isles. His lifelong passion for history helps bring to life the traditional music around which he built his career.

New Hampshire-based guitarist Matt Jensen has been performing professionally with bands of varying styles for 15 years. Noted for his cross-genre versatility in both rhythm and lead roles, he has appeared on some the state’s biggest stages, collaborating with many of the area’s most popular bands and opening for names such as Willie Nelson, Blues Traveler and more. In addition to his live performances, he works as a producer and session performer who has made his mark on countless projects and records. These days, he spends most of his time touring with Celtic powerhouse The Jordan TW Trio and working with guitar students at Strings and Things Music in Concord, New Hampshire.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. The Fair Haven Free Library is located at 107 N Main St. in Fair Haven.
