Easter market held at West Pawlet Fire House, April 9

Saturday, April 9, at 9 a.m.—WEST PAWLET—The West Pawlet Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary will hold its annual Easter market at the West Pawlet Fire House, 2806 Route 153 (Main Street), in West Pawlet on April 9.  The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Coffee and donuts are available for breakfast. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until closing and will feature the famous Auxiliary Corn Chowder. Shoppers can grab a lunch of hot dogs, hamburgers and cheeseburgers at family-friendly prices.

Auxiliary raffles include a 50/50 drawing, a complete ham dinner and a variety raffle of gift items. A jelly-bean contest will be featured. Will it take luck or skill to win the prize? Raffle drawings begin at 2:45 p.m.

Vendors will provide crafts, gifts, baked goods, plants, educational materials, seasonal arts, decorations, and miscellaneous merchandise. For more information call: 802-645-0244.

4-H bottle drive

Mettowee Valley 4-H Club will be holding a bottle drive at the West Pawlet Fire House during the West Pawlet Fire Department Auxiliary Easter Market. 4-H club members will be collecting returnable bottles in front of the old fire house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact Shannon Landon at 802-345-2867.
