Volunteers needed for junior golf

Dear Editor,

The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tournament will be returning to the Green Mountain National Golf Course in Killington next month. The event will return to a full field this year with some of the best national and international junior golfers from June 20-23.

As we know, Green Mountain National is one of Vermont’s and the region’s premier golf courses. Volunteers, in addition to a front-row seat to some great golf in beautiful surroundings, will receive a complimentary AJGA hat and a certificate for mid-week play at the course and light lunch each day.

If you are interested in helping at the event next month, please visit volunteersignup.org/FW3J4 to select your shift(s). Various volunteer opportunities include timing stations, live scoring, shuttle drivers, spotting and water rovers.

I hope you can join us June 20-23. Thank you!

Jim Harrison, Killington
