Killington Fund can help those in need

Dear Editor,

I was one of the many Killington employees abruptly laid off.

I have fallen behind on my rent, electric what little money I’ve had goes towards food. I feel as if the walls are closing in.

My family lives in Killington…My husband and I have both been out of work due to the Covid-19 pandemic and are having trouble making ends meet when it comes to food, fuel, utilities, RXs, co-pays, transportation, etc.

The Killington Fund for Covid-19 Relief has funds to help the Killington Community with basic necessities. Grants of $350 per household are available for those who have lost income from the Covid-19 pandemic. To apply for a grant email [email protected] or write to Killington Fund for Covid-19 Relief, P.O. Box 734, Killington, VT 05751.

While Killington is beginning to reopen, there are still many who have not seen an income in many months. A donation can also be made at gofundme.com/f/killington-strong.
