Dale of Norway invites public to meet Norwegian athletes

Friday & Saturday, Nov. 25-26—KILLINGTON—Dale of Norway announces a meet and greet poster signing with Audi FIS Ski World Cup competitors and National Norwegian Alpine Ski Team members, Ragnhild Mowinckel and Nina Loeseth, at Killington Sports, located at the corner of Route 4 and the Killington Road on Friday, Nov. 25, 3-3:45 p.m. Mowinckel and Loeseth will be competing in the Audi F.I.S. Ski World Cup at Killington Mountain, Nov. 26-27. A raffle of Dale of Norway product will also take place.
Mowinckel has seven top 10 World Cup results, a six place finish in the alpine combined at t she Sochi 2014 Olympic Games and is a three-time Junior World Champion. Loeseth became the first Norwegian woman to win a World Cup slalom race in sixteen year’s last January and has had four World Cup podiums.
Since 1956 Dale of Norway has been outfitting the National Norwegian Alpine Ski Team with official sweaters for all Winter Olympic Games and World Championships. The Viking Sweater, made from Merino lamb’s wool, embraces a modern look while paying tribute to Norway’s Viking heritage, is the team’s official sweater.
On Saturday, Nov. 26, Dale of Norway will be hosting a Celebration of World Cup History at Killington Sports, from 1-6 p.m  The public is invited to view a display of photographs and official sweaters from current and past World Cup Championships and Winter Olympics. The official sweater of the National Norwegian Alpine Ski Team, the Viking sweater, will be available for purchase. There will be a raffle of products and signed posters by Norwegian Alpine ski team members, Mowinckel and Loeseth.
