Act: you know what’s required

A lot happens this week. It will set the tone not just for the week nor the month, but for the rest of 2024 and beyond.

You’re being called to reopen an old chestnut you hoped you wouldn’t have to. You know how they say lessons repeat until they’re learned? What have you been trying to learn since 2008? What kind of karmic issues seem to come back and haunt you over and over since then?

This may sound daunting and for some it will be. That said, 2008 was a long time ago and you’re a completely different person now. Chances are, as you crack open the chestnut, things won’t be as bad as you expected. Even if they are, you have until November to put things right.

How might you do this, you may ask? Make the changes you’ve been avoiding. Take the risk you have been uncertain about. Discover just how powerful you are.

“God helps those who help themselves” and no one is coming to save you. Do what you have to do this week to cross the T’s and dot the I’s. Take the action you know is required. It matters not how much you do or don’t “feel like it.”

Working it out on the skin track

“How much longer until we get to where you are taking me?” I hear the voice reach out from behind me. We’d been skinning (or climbing uphill with our skis on) for about an hour when my ski sister finally decided to ask where we were going. We had started with some work road and…

The sweet sound of success: ‘Norman’s Rare Guitars Documentary’

In September of last year, I put my son on a flight to Australia, where he would spend the next month backpacking throughout t that country’s eastern coast. He then flew to Bangkok, Thailand, for another month, this time enjoying the jungles and beaches in the surrounding regions. Finally, he concluded his Pacific trek with…
