Featured Pets for May 19-25, 2021

3-year-old. Spayed female. Pit mix. White with black. I have my sun bonnet on and am ready to do some gardening or maybe go to the beach for a little swim or sit in the sun. My name means “beautiful” and that I am! People are the best and I just want to be with them all the time. I am good with older children. Maybe having a dog friend would be nice but that will depend if we are a good match. Smaller animals in the house are not going to work. I want to play and sometimes can be rough and we wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt. Taking a ride or going on a nice long walk or hike would be perfect! At the end of the day snuggle time is wonderful! I love to give kisses, kisses and more kisses! I just can’t figure out why I am still here.

“I’m a 1-year-old neutered shepherd mix. I’ve come to settle in here after roaming the streets.  I’m an active guy, so a hiking buddy would be cool! We could hit the trails, have a picnic and perhaps  even play some ball – another pawesome (see what I did there) pastime! I’m pretty laid back and just riding the wave until the next big adventure, which will be loving my own family! So, if you have room in your heart and home for an audacious dude like me, please call today to learn more!”

‘Here,’ there, and everywhere

Several years ago, while on a work trip to Denmark, I took a stroll into downtown Copenhagen to take in the sights. I enjoy roaming the cities I visit, hoping to catch a glimpse of something new and interesting or find some delicacy I’ve never tasted.  Denmark is notoriously rainy, but the sun was shining…
