Conditions favorable for World Cup weekend

Snowstorm drops 10+ inches days before World Cup at Killington

KILLINGTON — Killington Resort has been blowing snow aggressively over the past month both to prepare the Superstar race trail for the Ladies Ski World Cup races, Nov. 26 and 27, and to open as much terrain as possible for skiers and riders.  Killington has been open since Oct. 25 and was the only resorts open in the East prior to Nov. 23.
The recent snowstorm coupled with low temperatures, has created ideal conditions leading up to the World Cup. The resort anticipates welcoming up to 20,000 spectators for weekend events.
