Successful benefit held, thanks to Killington community

Dear Editor,

We want to thank everyone involved in the Bruce Oldenburg benefit held on March 8. Thanks to everyone’s hard work, support, generous donations and their time, the benefit was a huge success. Special thanks to Chris Karr for hosting the benefit at the Pickle Barrell Nightclub and providing food and advertising. We also want to thank his staff for their hard work. Thank you, area businesses and friends who provided food and donations for the silent auction and raffles. And a huge thank you to Mona and Jay Hickory for your dedication and time involved in organizing the benefit and providing many of the donated items. We also thank the musical entertainment and everyone who attended to show their support. Together with family, friends and neighbors, it truly was a memorable day not soon to be forgotten.

Sincerely,

Bruce and Barbie Oldenburg, and family
