Tate committed to solving problems of government spending

Dear Editor,

After a visit with Job Tate, candidate for Vt. House of Reps (Mendon, Chittenden, Killington, Bridgewater) I am convinced that he would serve the district very well.

Tate has an infant son and is very concerned about the things this young child will be facing with Vermont on its current path.

Tate is a veteran, and is currently serving in the Navy Reserve, Seabees; he is pro-business, supports the second amendment, and believes Vermont’s tax liability is maxed out. Cutting spending that has incrementally over time put the state in a bad financial way, will be a top priority.

Job Tate’s opponent, Rep. Anne Gallivan, has supported most tax increases and regulation proposals to come before the Vt. House in the last two years.

Voters in Tates’s district have a golden opportunity be a part of the solution to the many problems and situations the state is in: That would be to support Mr. Job Tate for district representative in Mendon, Chittenden, Killington, and Bridgewater.

James B. Hall, Center Rutland
