White River Junction VA Healthcare System to host a Veteran COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic in Manchester Center

Manchester Center, VT — The White River Junction Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare System in partnership with Northshire Civic Center will be hosting an off-site COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Wednesday, March 24, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the rink in Manchester Center, VT.  This clinic will be open to enrolled Veterans of ALL ages.

“It is important we continue to partner with our communities,” said Dr. Becky Rhoads, Associate Director of the White River Junction VA Healthcare System. “This has allowed us the opportunity to have large vaccination clinics for enrolled Veterans closer to their homes.”

WHAT: VA COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic- Johnson & Johnson will be offered

WHO: Any eligible, VA enrolled Veterans (any age)

Eligibility staff will be there to process applications for VA healthcare if you are not already enrolled.

Please bring your DD214 and any supporting military documentation to help us determine your eligibility for VA Healthcare.

Before attending the clinic, please read the important information below:

  • DO NOT SHOW UP EARLY- please arrive only 15 minutes early or less in order to keep social distancing and maintain parking availability
  • We will be offering the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Veterans MUST be enrolled in VA Healthcare
  • If you’re not enrolled or registered in the White River Junction Healthcare System, please call 802-295-9363 5118 to see about enrollment in VA healthcare!
  • No second dose required
  • If you have received any other vaccine 2 weeks prior to COVID-19 vaccine or plan to 2 weeks following, you cannot receive COVID-19 vaccine at this time
  • IF you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 3 months please speak with your PCP before scheduling this appointment
  • At this time the COVID-19 vaccine is not recommended for anyone who has previously experienced an anaphylactic reaction to a vaccine
