West Pawlet holds fall festival and flea market

Saturday, Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. — W. PAWLET — A fall festival and flea market will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18 in West Pawlet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. The event will be held at the fire station, located on Vermont Route 153 (Main Street). There will be a variety of flea market items from local as well as visiting vendors.

Auxiliary member Ellie Park said that a lot will be going on throughout the day at the fire station, including a food sale, a luncheon, raffle, and bobbing for apples for the children. The Food Sale will offer many homemade items.

Also, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., there will be a pumpkin painting contest; at 11 a.m., a pumpkin and apple pie baking contest will take place with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. including hamburgers, hot dogs, and beverages.
