The Vermont Institute of Natural Science behind-the-scenes tours of bird rehab

Baby birds in rehab are some of the avian residents to be seen during behind-the-scenes tours at VINS.

July 7, 10 at 2 p.m. — QUECHEE — The Vermont Institute of Natural Science will offer behind-the-scenes tours of its Center for Wild Bird Rehabilitation on Thursday, July 7 and Sunday, July 10 at 2 p.m. each day.

Learn what it takes to care for the myriad avian patients and residents of the VINS Nature Center. The journey will include viewing rehab-in-action and touring the ICU, prep areas, and flight cages of the Center for Wild Bird Rehabilitation. Afterwards, explore the Nature Center and attend a live bird program.

Behind-the-scenes tours are scheduled throughout the summer. The tours are designed for adults and for children, ages 8 and above.

The tour price includes general admission with an additional $11.50 for adults and $9.50 for youth, ages 8 to 17. General admission is $14.50 for adults; $13.50 for seniors, 62 and over; $12.50 for youth, ages 4 to 17; and free for members and for children, 3 and under.
