Valley Jam Vermont: three day festival kicks off Friday, Aug. 21 

Friday-Sunday, Aug. 21 – 23 — STOCKBRIDGE — This Friday, participants will enjoy the start of three days of music, camping , jamming, and festivities. The events begin Friday, Aug. 21 and jam on through Sunday evening, Aug. 23. The venue is located on the beautiful Tweed River Tubing site at the junction of Route 100 and Route 107 in Stockbridge, Vt.

The Bow Thayer Band and Brickdrop were also recently added to the lineup. They join Gang of Thieves, Holy Ghost Tent Revival, Sophistafunk, Spencer Lewis Folk Rock Project, and Rick Redington & The Luv and other bands for a weekend full of great local music. Festival-goers will see and hear more than 15 musical acts on two stages, can participate on an open mic stage where contestants can win prizes, plus enjoy community jamming, children’s activities, and food and craft vendors. Plus, the event is alongside the Tweed River, providing great opportunities for festival-goers to cool off from the summer heat.

Prices range from a Sunday day pass at $12 to an RV site with two full weekend camping passes for $130. There is a ticket for locals and those who have other accommodations: the weekend day pass is $35. Children 12 and under are free. Affordable on-site camping and RV spots are available.
