Vaccination requirement lifted at Killington and Pico resorts

Staff report

Mike Solimano, president and general manager of Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC, announced in a letter to staff earlier this week that Covid-19 vaccination would no longer be required for employment.

“On behalf of Powdr, I am pleased to announce that we are lifting the vaccine mandate for employment at Killington & Pico Resorts,” he wrote Tuesday morning, April 5.

“We have been paying close attention to the medical and scientific experts who understand the virus and its variants, and while we are confident that this is the right decision today,” Solimano wrote, adding: “we, of course, will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation. Your health, safety, and wellbeing, as well as that of our patrons, is our top priority.”

The change is now in effect for future employment.
