Thursday, Sept. 8 at 7:30 a.m.—RUTLAND—On Thursday, Sept. 8 at 7:30 a.m., United Way of Rutland County will kick off its annual campaign at the Franklin Conference Center, 1 Scale Avenue, Rutland,with volunteers, business leaders, community leaders, government officials, non-profit agency representatives and other friends of United Way attending.
Inspired by the recent Rio Olympics, this year’s theme is Breakfast of Champions, and the hall will be decorated accordingly.
Tickets for the full buffet breakfast are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
United Way of Rutland County is fighting for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. Local people with expertise in those three areas make decisions on how best to spend the community’s money to address our region’s most pressing needs. Programs supported by United Way contributions serve residents of every single town in Rutland County.
