Two injured in Bethel crash

BETHEL — Saturday, Oct. 3 at 12:13 p.m. Vermont state police responded to a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Route 107 and Route 12S in Bethel.  A 1996 Ford Ranger driven by Miles Fleming, age 24 of Springfield, was traveling east on Route 107. A second vehicle, a 1993 Honda Accord driven by Joshuah Cameron, age 28 of Georgia, Vt., was traveling west. As both vehicles approached the intersection, Cameron attempted to turn left and pulled in front of Fleming. The front of Fleming’s truck collided with the passenger side of Cameron’s car.  There was extensive damage to both vehicles. Cameron was transported to Gifford Medical Center and Fleming was airlifted to DHMC.
