Trucks hauling trailers sideswipe on Killington Road

KILLINGTON—On Sept. 12, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the Vermont State Police investigated a two vehicle crash, at 2825 Killington Road, (near Domenics and Choices Restaurants) in the town of Killington. The investigation revealed a 2006 Ford F350, operated by Cole W. Hall, age 18 from Bennington, Vt., was traveling north on Killington Road when it was side swiped by a 2007 GMC C5500 operated by Austin J. Lauzon, age 21 from Bennington, Vt. Both vehicles were towing trailers. Neither operator was injured in the crash.
Lauzon’s GMC C5500 sustained severe front end damage from striking a guard rail and was removed from the scene by Earle’s Truck Repair. Hall’s Ford F350 did not sustain any damage and was able to be driven from the scene.
Vermont Civil Violation Complaints were issued to Hall.
