Tri-Polar opens the fall season at Old Firehouse

Friday, Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m. — TINMOUTH — Tri-Polar, a newly re-formed group of veteran Vermont singers, will open the fall season at the Old Firehouse in Tinmouth Friday night Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m.

Darcie Gannon, Melissa Chesnut-Tangerman, and Don Martin have a long history of making music together. They first formed an electric rock band called The Vapours. Then they unplugged and became Alias: Grace, performing their song list as an acoustic trio. In their most recent incarnation as Tri-Polar, they present their own original material, along with a few of their favorite cover songs. Darcie and Melissa entwine their beautiful lead and harmony vocals, while Don adds a deeper third voice and guitar embellishments.

The Old Firehouse is located at 7 Mountain View Road in downtown Tinmouth Center. Doors will open at 7 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $10. Desserts, coffee, and tea are offered by local Tinmouth groups.
