Trail of the week: Squiggle and Wiggle

By Tony Accurso

Squiggle and Wiggle are two new beginner flow trails at Killington Resort.

Located on Snowshed Mountain, these trails are accessible either by taking the Snowshed lift, or directly off Killington Road near the work road just below the Superstar chair. These wooded trails feature berms, small jumps and table tops suited for beginners and intermediate riders. At approximately three quarters of a mile each, they are designed to allow new riders to experience three dimensional trail riding while progressing their skills in a relatively low consequence format. Have fun sessioning these trails, going a little bit faster and higher each run. These are the perfect trails for family fun, or to introduce Mom or Sis’ to downhill mountain biking. Ride green circle Squiggle to the base, or begin on Squiggle, and connect it to Wiggle and blue square Step It Up for a fun ride back down to the lift.
