The newly-renovated Mountain Meadows Lodge is now open

From its opening in the 1950s, Mountain Meadows Lodge has become one of Killington’s most celebrated fishing and mountain tourist destinations. Now after two years of extensive renovations, the new lodge has re-opened its doors.

This historic inn sits on the banks of Kent Pond in Killington. The new lodge offers guests a refreshing take on contemporary mountain lodging, blending 180-year-old beams with a modern farmhouse finish.

This is the second Vermont property for the family-owned and managed Palacina group of hotels. With roots in Woodstock, Vermont and Stockholm, Sweden and hotel properties in East Africa and Europe, the family brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this beautiful piece of land and accommodation in Killington.

Located just minutes away from all that Killington has to offer ,but far enough away to feel that you are deep in the woods, the hotel is surrounded by maple, pine, birch and hemlock trees. Natural gardens, a small goat stable, and the 100-acre Kent Pond complete the setting.

Guests will find a mix of contemporary design set in a rustic 180-year old cow barn. All bedrooms and suites offer mountain, pond and night sky views, private bathrooms, individual heat and cooling, premium bedding, smart TVs and in-room fridges and safes.

The Mountain Meadows open-plan public areas, exposed hand-hewn beams and deep leather sofas give this hotel a true Vermont style. At the heart of the hotel is the authentic stone fireplace that radiates heat to the bar and lounge-—perfect spaces for a hot cider after ski, or early morning reflection before a big hike.

With extensive leisure activities in every direction, the hotel offers guests the perfect home away from home from which to explore all the area has to offer. For more information visit mountainmeadowslodge.com.
