The advantages of draft animals discussed in Rochester

Thursday, March 12th at 7:00 p.m.—ROCHESTER—Carl Russell has been farming and logging with draft animals on his farm, and in his woods, in Bethel since 1986. He will share a slide show “Understanding Draft Animals as Motive Power,” showing the many ways to use work horses and oxen. He will explain training and working methods, and discuss how the historic art of working animals remains important as a modern source of motive power.

Watch the presentation and join the conversation about the advantages of using draft animals in forestry and agriculture at the Rochester Public Library.  All programs are free, accessible, and open to the public.  The library is located at 22 So.
