Table 24 tees up support for Rutland County Parent Child Center

On Monday, June 6, Table 24 Restaurant in downtown Rutland will proudly host its 8th Anniversary Charity Golf Tournament. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Rutland County Parent Child Center, a community-based, private non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and meeting the needs of children, youth and families. Past beneficiaries have included the Carly Ferro Purple Angel Foundation, Project VISION, and the Foley Cancer Center.

“The Rutland County Parent Child Center is excited to partner with Steve Sawyer and Table 24 for their annual golf tournament,” said Caprice Hover, executive director for the organization. “Our mission is to nurture children and families through supportive, positive, educational experiences that enhance their success in our community. Currently we are creating a spectrum-sensitive parent education and afterschool center to serve children and families in the Rutland Community at our soon to be finished Chaplin Avenue Health and Education Center. We will be thrilled to have a space available in the fall of this year, and funds raised through this event will further ensure we reach that goal.”

The five-person, scramble format tournament begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. at Green Mountain National Golf Course in Killington. The event will also include a raffle and silent auction, and donations will be gratefully accepted. For more information about the tournament, contact Steve Sawyer at 802-775-2424, or visit Table 24’s Facebook page at facebook.com/Table24.Rutland.
