 Subaru Shares the Love with a donation of $12,808 to Rutland Regional Medical Center

RUTLAND — On Friday, May 7, Rutland Subaru donated more than $12,800 from the 2020 Subaru Share the Love event to Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC) in support of the Enhancing Our Culture of Care campaign to upgrade the hospital’s psychiatric services inpatient unit (PSIU). Rutland Subaru was one of many Subaru dealers participating in the event nationwide.

As part of the Share the Love event, Rutland Subaru donated $250 for every new Subaru sold between Nov. 15, 2020 and Jan. 2, 2021.

“We are grateful to Rutland Subaru for selecting Rutland Regional Medical Center’s Enhancing our Culture of Care campaign as the beneficiary of its local Share the Love event,” said Traci Moore, senior director of development and community relations. “This donation is a wonderful boost to this important campaign. We truly appreciate the continued support of Rutland Subaru.”

Since being selected in 2017, Rutland Regional has received more than $65,000 in support of hospital programs and services from the Subaru Share the Love event. During the past four years, donations received have supported new 3D breast imaging and nuclear medicine diagnostic equipment in addition to upgrades to the psychiatric services inpatient unit.

Rutland Regional Medical Center, founded in 1896, is the largest community hospital and the second largest health care facility in Vermont. Rutland Regional is supported by a medical staff of 271 physicians trained in 37 specialty areas and over 1,600 employees.
