STARLINE RHYTHM BOYS

Thursday, June 11 at 7 p.m. — FAIR HAVEN — Get your lawn chairs ready! The Fair Haven Concerts in the Park 2015 Summer Series begins on Thursday, June 11 with the honky tonk sounds of the Starline Rhythm Boys. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. There will be ten concerts again this year and they go on rain or shine. The rain location is the Fair Haven Baptist Church, located at the south end of the park.

This concert will feature the first of four free ice cream nights. Hot dogs, soda, water and popcorn are also available for purchase. Thanks to our many generous sponsors and local businesses, each concert night many door prizes are also given out. We also hold a very popular 50/50 raffle.

Performing now for 17 years, the Starline Rhythm Boys are a full time, actively booked drummer-less “Tennessee Trio,” consisting of Danny Coane (Little Danny C) on acoustic rhythm guitar, Big Al Lemery on electric lead guitar and Billy (Slappin’ Billy B) Bratcher on acoustic upright slap bass, in the style of Elvis’, Cash’s and Perkins’ early bands. They have their own special style of vintage country, honky-tonk and rockabilly music that features very strong country harmony duet vocals. Their repertoire consists of many originals, as well as covers of both classic and obscure numbers.

The concerts are family friendly, appropriate for all ages.
