Spring farm programs for pre-schoolers begin at Billings Farm

Wednesday, May 6 at 9 a.m. — WOODSTOCK — Billings Farm & Museum announces its popular farm programs for pre-school children, ages 3 and up. “Programs for Preschoolers” will be offered Wednesday mornings in May, from 9-10:30 a.m.  Each program will feature a story, visit to the farm, hands-on activity, and snack. The cost is $3 per person for Billings Farm & Museum members, and $5 per person for non-members.

On Wednesday, May 6, the program is “Peg.”  Peg is a very special hen and soon she will have the biggest family on the farm!  Visit with chicks, make a special Mother’s Day gift for mom, then share a snack with friends.

Programs will continue May 13 (Sugaring), 20 (What a Wonderful Day to be a Cow), and 27 (Wool Gathering).

To register for “Programs for Preschoolers,” call 802-457-2355, week days 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Each program has limited enrollment, and advance registration is required.
