Sherburne Women’s Club Golf Outing held Sunday at GMNGC

KILLINGTON — The Sherburne Women’s Club is holding a fundraiser Golf Outing at Green Mountain National Golf Course on Aug. 23, at 1:30 p.m. The golf is for ladies only, but everyone is invited to the barbecue lunch.

“Never-ever golfers as well as seasoned players are invited to participate as this is a terrific opportunity to get out for a social afternoon of golf,” said Janina Curtis of the Sherburne Women’s Club.

The outing will start with a golf clinic with golf professional David Soucy, followed by lunch at the clubhouse. The fun will continue with a 9-hole scramble, followed by an after party with appetizers, prizes and raffles. Local businesses have donated a number of great prizes including gift certificates, ski goggles, SUP rental, yoga, golf lessons, wine baskets, an original Peter Huntoon water color painting and more. All players will receive a goodie bag.

The price is $45 for the entire outing, or $15 for the lunch only. RSVP is required as space is limited; please contact Carla Meola at [email protected].
