the community to celebrate Diwali together on Sunday, Nov. 12 between 4-7 p.m. Sample homemade Indian delicacies and learn more about the festival that’s celebrated by millions of people in countries around the world.
Diwali, the festival of lights, takes place annually and lasts for five days. It marks the start of the Hindu New Year, and Diwali lights and lamps are said to bring prosperity and good fortune in the year to come. Yet, it’s not just about lights. Diwali is a time to have fun with friends and family.
