RYT holds open auditions for Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”

Sunday, May 22 at 12 p.m. — RUTLAND — Rutland Youth Theatre is holding open auditions for its summer traveling troupe, Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” on May 22 only, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (please note there is no audition on May 24 as previously stated) at Rutland at Recreation Department’s new home, the old Courcelle building on 16 North Street Extension, Rutland. Rehearsals will be scheduled for Tuesdays 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays 3-6 p.m.

Students entering grade 7 through (graduating) grade 12 may audition.

Performances will be held in July throughout the greater Rutland area, traveling to town and city greens for outdoor shows a la “The Bard’s” style.
