Sunday, Jan. 1—RUTLAND—The Rutland Recreation Department will offer Intro to Figure Skating starting Jan. 1 at Giorgetti Arena. The program is designed for those who are looking to sharpen and enhance their freestyle skills and is recommended for those who already have a solid foundation of figure skating. There will be 30-minute instruction time and 30 minutes of free practice time which will occur at the beginning of the session. Sessions will be held on Sundays, 8:45-9:45 a.m., Jan. 1 through Feb. 5. The fee is $160 residents and $171 non-residents. Session two will run for three weeks, Feb. 12-26 and the fee is $80 residents and $91 non-residents.
