RAVNAH hires development director

RUTLAND—On Jan. 13, Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice (RAVNAH) announced the appointment of Christine Hoard as development director for the newly formed VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSWR).

Hoard received a Bachelor of Science from Castleton State College. She brings more than 20 years of experience in professional fundraising, project management and special events production.

“Christine has extensive experience in all areas of fundraising. We’re excited to have her on board. She will be a strong addition to our team, especially as we develop new relationships in the Bennington area, the newest member to our family,” said Ron Cioffi, CEO of VNAHSWR. “We look forward to building upon the many successful fundraising initiatives currently in place.”

Hoard will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing and directing of all fundraising initiatives for the VNA & Hospice organizations that provide home health and community health services in Rutland (RAVNAH), Dorset (DAVNAH) and Bennington (VNAHSVT).
