Eli Adams is a tenth grade student at LiHigh School, a small independent school in Poultney, Vt. He discovered photography at age 13, and has been developing his craft for the past four years. His favorite subjects include Vermont landscapes, old barns and buildings, sunrises and sunsets, nature and starry nights.

“I am a photographer because I feel bad for the earth and how humans are destroying it — most without realizing,” said Adams. “I try to capture the beauty before it is gone. Photography helps me see things differently and the beauty around us that most people don’t see every day.”

The Gallery at Equinox Village in Manchester, Vt., will present an exhibit of photography by Eli Adams from July 16 through Aug. 17, 2015. The opening, scheduled for Thursday, July 16 at 5:30 p.m., is free and open to the public and will feature light refreshments and live music.

The Gallery is located at 49 Maple Street in Manchester Center. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.  For more information, call Equinox Village visit www.equinoxvillage.com.
