Police respond to shooting incident

By Ed Larson

Rutland City Police Chief Brian Kilcullen stated that police responded to Terrill Street in Rutland on Sunday, Feb. 9 for a report of possible shots being fired.

Police later determined that no shooting occurred, however a wrench was pounded on a window of a residence in an effort to get the attention of the resident there.

Kilcullen said the window didn’t break and two suspects who were brought to the police station were released.
