PMNRCD holds its annual tree sale

The Poultney Mettowee Natural Resource Conservation District is holding its annual plant sale. This year it is offering a variety of native trees and shrubs for landscaping or  naturalizing (balsam fir, sugar maple, serviceberry,and winterberry), native edible plants (red mulberry, American plum, elderberry, and hazelnut), as well as apple trees, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and asparagus.

In addition to plants, the sale includes a 2021 PMNRCD featuring photos taken by staff and local producers, which are available for early pickup.

Many of the native plants are locally grown at the Champlain Valley Native Plant Restoration Nursery located in Poultney. Visit pmnrcd.org/champlain-valley-native-plant-restoration-nursery/ to view catalog and order form. Orders will be taken until April 22.
