Pittsford Haunted House featured in Vermont horror film

Monday, Oct. 27 — DeadFi Productions of Burlington, Vt. is set to release a horror film, “Dead Static,” based on Vermont’s most haunted locations on Oct. 27. The film will be viewable for free exclusively on the DeadFi YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/DeadFi.

The 23-minute film contains three separate stories of horrific paranormal incidences that were caught on tape. The audience will be watching the “found footage” from each of these locations: Emily‘s Bridge (Stowe), Green Mount Cemetery (Montpelier) and The Pittsford Haunted House (Pittsford).

The film marks DeadFi’s first collaboration with the Haunted Vermont and Obscure Vermont communities, which was crucial to the accuracy of the research and bringing the local folklore to life as realistically as possible.

DeadFi Productions specializes in micro-budget horror films made for the web. Their films have been featured on “Ain’t It Cool News” and have played numerous film festivals nationwide.
