Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m. — LUDLOW — The Friends of the Fletcher Memorial Library will host Maxine Gautier for an organizing workshop on Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m. at the Fletcher Memorial Library. The event, entitled “Wouldn’t you like to Lighten Your Load?” organizing workshop will take place in the community room (downstairs). Do you feel like you’re fighting a rising tide of clutter in your home or office? Is your schedule so loaded you don’t have time for a deep breath? Come to this presentation by professional organizer Maxine Gautier and learn some strategies to put you back in control. She’ll start by discussing proven decluttering techniques. Gautier will provide some information about keeping things organized once you’ve decluttered. Finally, she will offer ideas and support for streamlining your schedule and creating valuable free time. There will be time for group exercises and a Q&A session, and participants will leave prepared to handle an organizing challenge in their life.
