Bill Wolff has degrees in sculpture from Binghamton University, Louisiana State University, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and Tokyo University of the Arts. While in Japan, he studied the traditional yosegi zukuri process which influenced his work in wood, carved, hollowed and assembled from sections of trees.
